Who is responsible
World Best Buy and Sell Inc operates WBBAS and is responsible for the personal information it handles. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@wbbas.com and mark the subject “Privacy”.
What we use and why
We use account and profile details, contact and delivery information, listings and uploaded files, transaction and support records, and technical security data to operate the marketplace, fulfil orders, process payments, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. Messages and call-related information are handled to provide the communication features you use.
Permissions and choices
Camera, microphone, photos and location are used for features you choose and permissions you grant. Voice-assistance features may process speech or transcripts to respond to your request. You can change device permissions and optional notification choices. Declining a permission can limit that feature. Public listings and public profile details can be viewed by others; do not publish sensitive information in them.
Sharing and service providers
We share information needed to complete your transaction with the relevant seller, buyer or delivery provider. Payment, hosting, image delivery, communications and other technology providers may process information to operate the services, including outside your province or country, where local laws may apply. We may disclose information with your consent, for fraud prevention, or when required or permitted by law.
Keeping information and protecting it
We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the information. We retain information for the service, accounting, dispute, security and legal purposes for which it is needed, then delete or de-identify it under our retention procedures. Closing an account does not necessarily remove records required for those purposes. Browser storage and similar technology support sign-in, preferences, security and service operation.
Access, correction and concerns
Contact us to request access, correction, account deletion or withdrawal of consent, or to raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity and explain any legal limits or service consequences. You may also contact the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Material policy changes will be identified with an updated version date.
